Bonfire

When we were little my parents had bonfire parties on their field. When you wondered away from the fire you were plunged into pitch black. It was alwats thrilling, scary, disorientating, exciting.

I hope the kids had as much fun too. There was meat and potato pie, treacle toffee, a bonfire, fireworks and best of all, their cousins were there...
