River at Barnes, Late Afternoon

Beautiful sunny day today. We walked to Kew Gardens, and spent an hour in the autumn colours. Later in the afternoon I went down to the river, and took this shot of a family on the bank of the river at low tide, dad teaching stone skimming. The low sun was illuminating them, and also the boats in the background very slowly making their way home in a light breeze but luckily with the tide.
