Skerries Lighthouse

Been a fine day, not much sunshine but dry and calm :)

I set off early this moring and headed for the ferry to go to Skerries. My friend Marina Tait welcomed me with a cuppa when I arrvied and also lunch and tea, thanks again Marina :) Great walks around both the isles that are joined with a bridge but will have to return in the summer to get to the smaller isles. If you look on the map in detail, you'll see how remote these isles are!

Back to work tomorrow :( Certainly had a great week off :)

This is the lighthouse on Skerries, sure it must see some rough seas at times coming from the North Sea!
