RED DEVIL

Mid season dessert apple, scarlet flushed skin with pronounced bloom on skin. Keeps quite well - for several weeks. Good decorative tree; slender, good cropper; somewhat prone to scab in Leicestershire. Pink blossom. Cortex wood is pink; young leaves dark reddish-green going to green as they mature.
