Rendall/Evie
Another long day - took two grandchildren home and gained three for tonight (along with their mummy and her twin Marielle), saw the Boy's rugby game, caught up with a sweet friend and cooked a delicious Orkney beef roast - which I had intended to blip in order to fulfill today's DDW challenge "mouthwatering" - before I remembered the camera, the roast had been diminished to bits! Oh no! Luckily Sonja and I took some photos of Rendall today which I could use one of - this is a carved stone signifying (I think) the border between the parishes Evie and Rendall. I don't know much about it, but will find out - maybe my dog Shyla would find the fish mouthwatering!
Since Sonja will be travelling to South America with her father in December, I tried to teach her some pointers to taking good photos - she has a natural ability but was very eager to learn more (straight horizons, points of interest, portraits etc) - here's two photos she produced today, straight off the camera - I am proud and can't wait to see the photos she brings back from Brazil and Paraguay!
