OUTBACK AUSTRALIA..... Back When...#10

Today here is......Remembrance Day (11 November) marks the anniversary of the armistice which ended the First World War (1914–18). Each year Australians observe one minute silence at 11 am on 11 November, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.
From the Australian War Memorial site.

Although (thankfully) my Dad who served in the second world war as a pilot on the Lancaster bombers survived, having him pass last year, makes today a day of "double" remembrance!
For Dad, and all those lost in battle for our wonderful country.

You have met my Mum before in my "old pic" series, so today is a good day to meet Dad.

Enjoy.

PS... thank you all for your comments on my Sunday Sky Blip, much appreciated
