The big reveal

After 16 days, we cracked the crock and had our first taste of the kraut: superbe! Will get around to jarring it up hopefully tomorrow. Then I'll have to work some magic to find space in the fridge for it all. Or just start giving it away...

Had a wonderful visit today with a bright, shiny friend-- I hadn't seen her in way too long. Time with her always makes me feel happy and alive.
