Time for some lunch

It's been pretty busy these past few days. What better reward than a Sunday afternoon lunchtime snack at Rocket Donuts? This plateful was gone in about a minute.

How do YOU prefer to spell the word for the ring-shaped cake made of dough and fried in fat? I believe the original spelling is indeed 'doughnut', but the easier 'donut' version came along and was reinforced with the advent of Dunkin' Donuts, and now Rocket Donuts.

Either spelling, it's all good to me!
