Honey Eater ( a silver lining we are on the mend)

Our first morning up and feeling a little better for both of us, we sat on the verandah at 7.30am all was still not a breath of wind, we sat contemplating trying to eat something, we ended up with a slice of toast, I picked up the camera as well as the toast! This new holland came in for his breakfast too.. (he's all I have for today)
We were both back indoors shortly after this and like a pair of bookends..
The rest of the morning we watched the services from all around Australia for Armistice day, with numbers growing from the very young to the very old every year who come out to honour them how can all those brave servicemen and women who fought so gallantly ever be forgotten?? I was so very fortunate my Dad came home, and he will never be forgotten..
