Driech

It's been a long time since we last got quite as wet. My dogs were so excited to see me getting dubbed up and ready for a day in the rain. They glared at me as I headed out for the shoot leaving them behind.

There's been an outbreak of kennel cough which is highly contagious. I don't want it and my sister wouldn't be impressed if I sent her dog home to Scotland coughing and wheezing. The dogs were all in contact with the infected dogs a week ago but none are giving signs of having caught it. All anyone can do is to keep a distance and cross fingers.

Smug, I thought it would be good not to have to wash the thick clay off muddy paws but they had to be walked after I got home. Three dogs trotted back in need of a good bath!
