Autumn walk

I usually go for a walk to the Strid from Bolton Abbey at this time of the year as the oak and beech tree leaves are very colourful. The walk started well in lovely sunshine but by the time I reached the Strid it was raining heavily, and as I had lots of time to kill before the bus home, I visited the cafe and enjoyed a pot of tea with a slice of carrot cake.
