The Last Sunflower

The sunflowers have been wonderful this Summer, one or two are still clinging on, this is the best of them. The others have set seed and the birds have been feasting on them. A few other flowers still flowering too, so maybe more in a few days time.

It rained for most of the morning but was very still, no wind and strangely warm - Kevin the postman stripped down to his polo shirt!

I ventured outdoors for a short while to collect leaves, lots have fallen overnight. Otherwise a day indoors making jewellery and catching up on the Montalbano series which I've been recrording from the TV.
