Doctor Chickpea

We had a play date at a friend's house today. Chickpea and Madelyn had a (mostly) fun and peaceful day together. When I snapped this pic they were upstairs playing doctors, or I should say midwives. M was having a baby moose at this point and C had a baby pig a bit later on. At one point during the birth of the moose M said, "you will have to put that injection in my belly to make the baby come out." Yeouch! Chickpea happily obliged.

We've been reading "Where the Wild things Are" this week and have started doing some activities based on the book. Today the kids made crowns to be king of the wild things, sailed in a boat (overturned table) to the land of the wild things and made a pillow and blanket fort in the living room. While she was designing the fort Chickpea kept saying, "this one is for the background" and "I'm making mischief!" It was very cute.
