Pansies by night

Here are our pansies in the hanging basket which are still in flower. Now I am sure there will be some fancy name for them and a reason why they have survived the recent hard frosts but I like them as they bring a bit of colour to the garden other than the oranges a browns of all the fallen leaves.

Not sure how long they will last but I hope they do survive for a while yet. Things like this make me smile.
