Getting very cold and wintry now. Time to click on the fake living room fire for a glow and a feeling of comfort.

I know the pallaver a proper coal fire can be but the heat and warmth can't be beaten.

It's mesmerising. Crackles, all sorts of noises. A world of its own and much better to watch than some TV programmes.
