Open Mic Night

Esther O'Connor and her Dad Graeme Duffin at the party to celebrate a year of Open Mic Nights at the Queen's Park Cafe. There were some quality performances this evening. And there was cake .... white chocolate and blueberry, by Bakery 47.

I like the fact that Esther's husband Tim appears in the mirror image behind her. The two of them - Ashton Lane - are heading up to the Isle of Skye soon, to record some TV for BBC Alba.

And Graeme, well he's off to London to appear with Wet Wet Wet on the BBC Children in Need Show on Friday night, before heading into rehearsals for their December "Greatest Hits" UK Tour. Their new single "Step by Step" is in this link.
