South Stripping
After breakfast in a dive (Ellis Island Casino and Brewery), where the food was good and the price was better, I headed south.
I started at the Madeley Bay, across to the Luxor, tram to the Excalibur. I took this panoramic on the corner to capture New York, New York, MGM Grand, Tropicana and the Excalibur. I looked in each of them. The Excalibur felt worn, NYNY was dark and gloomy, the MGM Grand feels very airy, and the Tropicana is well lit and felt clean and sharp. Popped into Hooters, but that was horrid!
My ankles and hips are killing me, so I had a quick lunch, did some more chocolate shopping to take home and now resting at the hotel.
My time in Vegas feels too long now! I have 24 hours to myself, before attending the welcome party for the conference.
I think I'll head to the Peppermill for breakfast and have a look at the Stratosphere tomorrow.
