What next?

I've just found these images that I took last Friday - so another back-blip!

Now: back from Venice with a head full of images of Venetian doorways and peeling paint.

Then: a week before we had been in Northumberland where I was much more focused on sand, beaches, grey skies and playing with a drawing App on the i-pad. So Thursday was a little bit of a struggle in the studio about where next! So with this i-pad image in mind I'd spent some time wondering if I could make some cut paper stencils and incorporate them into a plate. I'm showing the more successful one on the right. It does print OK - I've tried it today.
