ICE talk

I've been looking to connect with the regional Institution of Civil Engineers since moving out to Doha and went along to an evening lecture tonight.

As it turns out the local ICE representative is actually one of my new colleagues which is pretty handy. And the subject of tonight's lecture was the Doha metro, presented by our project director so it was meant to be!

Despite my blip showing lots of empty seats (we arrived very early), there were around 60 in attendance so it's good to know there is a healthy community over here!
