The Artist's Tools

The Little Misses were overwhelmed by the creative urge as soon as they got in from school and just had to get out every pen, pencil and crayon in the house.
And most of the paint and glitter.
Five minutes later they'd finished and left it all strewn over the floor.
My children find the idea of tidying up after themselves a pretty alien concept.
Sigh!
Miss L and I had a good day today. She had her swimming lesson this morning - and excelled herself by not only not moving forward when she kicks but actually going backwards. Hilarious!
Then it was some scan and shop action in Tescos. Miss L insisted on holding and scanning every item so we were in there quite a while!
Then it was to Milton Keynes to pick up a few essentials for Miss E's Christmas play costume. She's a snowflake!!
So far we have sparkly tights, sparkly shoes and a plain white top to attach sparkly things to. I think she'll be a cute snowflake!
We met Mrs A in Ikea for a couple of cups of free tea and a teeny tiny portion of meatballs and chips for me.
Miss L made friends with a little girl in the play area and they were so sweet playing together for ages. Miss L got really upset on the drive home because she wanted "the girl who was four" to come to her party and couldn't understand why I thought it might be problematic!
