A batty decision
Four sixteen-storey tower blocks, completed in 1971 towering over Bellsmyre . These monstrosities were due for demolition this year at a cost of 2 million pounds but so far it has not happened , I read in the paper that they were being surveyed by a wildlife consultant as they suspected there were a rare species of bat roosting in them.
A new community centre is currently being built and is near completion - it less than 100 ft from where they will demolish the flats , planning genius !!!!!
