Shocking discovery

(Apologies for the terrible picture)

Paedophiles, as we are constantly warned, are lurking everywhere. Young people are told not to talk to people on the internet because they are almost definitely 50 year old men who will make you fall in love with them. I have had many 'Internet friends' in the past and for some people they are their sole means of communication with other people. Although I always had other people to fall back on had I only have those internet friends I don't know where I'd be. Now they were either harmless and innocent and lovely or they were telling me to kill myself. The nice ones have never been anything but nice so I shan't doubt their legitimacy and I doubt a paedophile would be telling me to kill myself, they'd want pornographic photos and they'd never get any of those if I was alone and dead in my bedroom.

That got a bit long winded but basically, the Internet isn't in y opinion as bad as it's made out to be. If you're snooping about in dodgy places okay but mainstream social media seems okay to me.

This brings me on to the shocking discovery. Whilst a thirteen year old girl myself and some friend were groomed by a convicted paedophile at the place we used to go horse riding. Now although we knew this guy was weird we were pretty much oblivious. Until we found these BBC articles about him. Now none of us were molested but there were lots of other younger girls there so who knows if anything went on. All we know is that he stopped going to our yard after we all blocked him on fb.

Now the moral of the story. In today's society we are brought up to be aware of typical 'Paedophiles' and we were all wary of this guy. Trust your children's intuition. They'll probably know better than you who's someone to stay away from.
