Morning snow

We had our first snow overnight. Nothing substantial, but enough that the cats hesitated to go outside this morning. Saw how the snow filled in the detail on this bench while walking and liked it.

Picked Riley up this afternoon from vet. No cone necessary, just antibiotics twice a day and return visit in two weeks. His eye is swollen but they said that was to be expected and other than a swollen eye he is perfectly as usual. The sutures will dissolve so we don't have to worry about that.

Spent the early part of the evening stacking wood on the porch. The wind is howling outside. Taking a rest now, then will make dinner. Mr. M working day shift today so he'll be home by 8.
