Chan Chan (near Trujillo, Peru)

The ancient city of Chan Chan was the imperial city of the Chimú, (AD 1000 to 1470) and is the largest adobe city in the world (28 sq km), there are 10 palaces in total and we were lucky enough to look around one of them that has been carefully restored and now being carefully preserved - very impressive!
