Puddle Jumping

We have a set of little puddles at the bottom of the driveway, that have provided , well ...decades of entertainment to the young ones. A few times John has talked about the need to fill them up with gravel, hurtling me to an adamant stance to oppose such foolishness. Why rob the children of great fun? Birds bathe there! All in all, I have probably stood hours by these puddles, watching little hands throw rocks, helping them to find more... Then as their steps grow more sure, the splashing and jumping ensues.
