Up, Up And Away

Another nice misty morning on the canal promising a warm day ahead. Sadly, the final day of our holiday, we must be back in time to be completely unloaded by 4pm.

Safely back home and reflecting:-

The best thing: waking to find the mist down on the river Weaver on Wednesday and watching the morning unfold.

The worst thing: making the bacon & mushroom butties and tripping on the steps up to the deck with mine. It's amazing how far the contents flew!

The funniest thing: getting locked in the toilet as Chippy went down the boat routinely securing all the doors! The engine is so noisy my shouting and banging may not have been heard for hours!

The blip was taken at 8.30am, still misty and in the distance I noticed a heron sitting under a bridge. I took shot after shot as we approached, predictably it took off. I was wondering whether to crop the image but decided to leave it as it is, it sets the scene.
Chippy's blip was taken later on our route back.
