Madeleine

Woke up feeling horrific (I hate colds but I seem to get a lot of them!), packed my things and jumped into the car with Richard to head to the station. Goodbyes and then a bit of a wait for my train, during which time I tried (and failed) to arrange cover for my shift at work and got a text from Maddie offering love and nutritious things. Popped round to the flat straight off of the train for a cup of tea, some crumpets and some chat with her and Alex, which was lovely. I then departed with a delicious tub full of spiced butternut squash soup (I do love that girl) before spending the rest of the day in bed recuperating.
