Food Glorious Food

We didn't do much today.. Slept in late and went out for lunch. The local repasts looked great but we settled on this small restaurant and it was utterly delectable.

The pot you see is set into the table.. They bring out the large pot with the meat, beans, carrots and spices in it and put it on the heat at the table. They then place a heavy wooden lid on the pot and let everything cook. Just before the meat is cooked they come out and put the noodles on top.. The noodles then steam cook and taste a lot like spicy bread. When it's all done they come out and mix it all together and then we ate... and ate... and ate. Neither of us is overly fussed on cooked carrots but even the 'worst' part was delicious.
