Sweet Tomato Chutney

When Hubby is home he does most of the cooking. Unfortunately, I do most of the grocery shopping. The result this month is that I have been buying tomatoes that haven't been used.

Hubby is the only one in the house that eats tomatoes but I couldn't throw them out. So, I decided to make some chutney with them. Opted for a sweet chutney as I figured I would maybe eat it regardless of the tomatoes.

It tastes a little like a sweet and sour sauce and the recipe states that if stored properly it should keep for up to twelve months.

Another spooky coincidence today. Check last year's blip. Today I also cleared out the herbs and spices and have a list of what needs to be replenished.
