Huge, heavy slabs of steel making their way from Port Talbot. It used to be called Corus but I think it's changed now. Before that it was British Steel, that was when my Dad worked there. They had a massive hall and used to hold huge Christmas parties there for the staffs children. I remember having to dress up in a party dress, it was always a big occasion. One year I went straight from a ballet class and it was only after we arrived that we realised Dad had forgotten my shoes. I wore my character shoes from my ballet bag instead :-)
