Monarda
The first frost of the season hit Cumberwell this morning, bringing both exquisite and intricate sparkles to the raised beds and hard standing.
It was a photographers delight as the sun rose, melting the diamond like freeze.
Monarda is the plant of the day, as I just love the details the frost has highlighted. It reminds me of a sea anemone! Originally from the Appalachian Mountains and when in full bloom, she has the most perfectly formed white flowers.
