A walk in the woods..

It was a lovely morning so I took the dogs to a local Woodland Trust woods - Everdon Stubbs. Last time I went it was 16th May and there were bluebells everywhere (http://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3066653)
The leaves have nearly all fallen and the bracken is going brown but I like this stage - you can see the shape of the trees more. I also blipped a snowy trip here - 28th March. (Sorry, I can't put link!)
It's a small wood with ancient coppicing. Quite hilly in parts and views on the edge on one side are far-reaching. I had the whole woods to myself today - I think - there was no one else parked there anyway. Just me, the dogs and the sound of birds.. So peaceful.. :-)
