Club Sandwich Summit

This was my view this evening after a weird day...

Audrey bug update: she still seems bad but did eat (a little) today and had a better night's sleep. I remain hopeful.

So I decided to fire my client this morning. First time in ten years. Turns out it's not as easy as I thought. Three hours after making the call, I was sat having it out with them over club sandwiches. They said they wanted to fix the problem. I basically wasn't allowed to quit (without a fight). And I just don't have fight in me at the moment so seems we are back to working together. I guess it will have cleared the air. It was a very odd meeting but I have to respect their patience. Will just have to see if things improve and on the plus side, I haven't lost the fees.

Am pretty grumpy still though all told. Worried about work, Audrey, my sister (long story, not for blip) and this cold miserable weather doesn't help. Had to work after Audrey's bath tonight to catch up after the earlier club sandwich summit derailed me. So it was a microwave 'ping and ding' meal for one. Even more depressing!
