Quails

After a busy morning I went out to find a motive for this Blip and the choice was really hard. The weather is absolutely gorgeous, sun, light clear blue sky, no wind.
So the remaining leaves on the trees are shining in the most beautiful colors and even little wild flowers are blooming. Amazing at this time of the year! But my choice fell upon the less colorful birds. They were picking on the ground in a large group, but they are very fearful, so if one starts running, the others will follow. Took several shots, trying to get the movement and a clear image of a male bird, because I love that big black feather that is hanging over their face like from a fancy lady's hat. This was the best of them.
