Frescoed ceiling

This is the frescoed ceiling of the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago, IL; some compare the ceiling to the ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. Potter Palmer built the first hotel for his bride, Bertha. It burned down 13 days later in the Great Chicago Fire; he immediately rebuilt it, then his family rebuilt a larger hotel later in the same spot.
