It rolls off the tongue, and
The sound delights us all.

That opened in Seattle, Washington. 1971.

Whose three partners shared a love,
Of fine coffee and books.

So when searching for a name,
They turned to the classics.
Moby Dick, to be specific.

Starbuck,
Pays homage to,
Captain Ahab’s first mate.
Who tries to be the voice of reason,
Against Ahab’s crazy Whale vendetta.

Plus, Starbuck,
Taps into the feel of those early coffee traders.
And their high sea adventures,
