Feeding Frenzy

The past few weeks have been rich in marine life sightings, mainly because of the huge numbers of anchovies in the bay. This is a view from the three mile walking path on the cliffs by the ocean, looking toward the amusement park and the pier. If you can enlarge this, it's worth it--there are hundreds of pelicans, a good number of sea lions, and one little surfer all clustered very close to shore. A big racket of bird noise, and more and more keep flying in. Many spectators on the path, lots of cameras, everyone's smiling to see such activity.
