Bees and Lavender

The lavender has been smothered with bees. Here is one of many photos.
Found a lovely set of flowers but the bees kept going across them which did not work very well compositionally.

Just reprinted my book - another big edition this time of 4 copies rather than 5 ! Saw my elderly aunt ( my mother's cousin) in the weekend. J had recently turned 90 and was very friendly and with it. She was thrilled with what I was doing and let me photo get 8 more paintings of my great grand father. Some of the libraries want copies and it was also a opportunity to fix a couple of minor errors.
