Diving and shopping

I had scuba diving booked this morning... It was a bit of a disaster. The conditions on entry were the worst I have experienced. I then had to do a long swim, couldn't descend and when I did we came up to 5m and I floated to the surface... Underweighted. The swim and exit were horrendous and left me feeling very sick. I forfeited the second dive. Not the best experience ever but that can happen in diving.

The lovely R picked me up and we went to the V & A waterfront for a Steers burger! If you have ever been to South Africa, you will know that a Steers burger far out ways in quality that of old Ronald Mc D and the 'King' chains! Excellent.

A wander round the shops for sun tan lotion and biltong was had and then back to Hout Bay and out to one of the local eateries for pizza. Nice but not as nice as last night fish and chips which were awesome!

Went to watch the sun going down over the bay which was lovely.

Early night had as the jet lag and excitement had definitely caught up!

Still a great day on the epic trip!
