Ashura

What a day of photo opportunities!!
Was up at 3.30am to meet a photogroup for sunrise photies. Got some lovely ones there. Luckily I didn't post early as a friend invited us to join her and her Bahraini friends to join them at the Souq to watch the Ashura procession. Hardly had time to change after sunrise pics, put on my Abaya and off we went.
Was a very moving day!! Lots of marching, chanting and emotion!!
