beautiful rail bridge in edinburgh which took 7 years to build and was opened in 1890 …. interestingly it took 10x the amount of metal to build this bridge compared to the eiffel tower and sadly 98 men's lives were lost during the building of the bridge …. it is located next to the much younger road bridge which opened in 1964 ………. they both span the river forth and are 2.5km long ………...
