On the way to work...

Yesterday the motorway was closed and the traffic was diverted to the other roads around where I work. The streets were clogged so I decided to drive home through a wood and fields. I've been this way once or twice before, but for some reason never considered it as an alternative to the main roads I usually use. It is a wonderful route and gets me home quicker - there is almost no other traffic. This morning I saw this beautiful sunrise in my rearview mirror. I also saw my two favourite wild animals - two deer and a pheasant (but they ran off before I could get a photo)... So I'll definitely be driving to and from work this way from now on! :-)
