Being measured

The gov on the turbo with the wacky Dawes being measured up.
It transpired that the frame was about the right size albeit a little long which is OK so long as she doesn't have drop handlebars, the bars need to be more rounded as they are giving her crinkly wrists. The cranks are too long and she needs a bigger range of gears on the back.
Bad news for me too, my bike will be OK with new bars and stem.
We were thinking we'd have to buy new bikes…….
I was quite looking forward to a new carbon fibre racer…..

The guy doing the measuring was really clued up though, spent over an hour on each of us including videos and analysis of leg angles and position of saddle and lots of other stuff.
