Orchard

We found out that our garden used to be part of a much larger orchard, and that the trees are even older than we'd thought. Some of the fruit has survived the winds and is still waiting to be picked and eaten before the frosts come. I really like that the trees have grown into whatever shapes they please, and are frequented by so many woodpeckers and squirrels.
