Lamp chop

A long day but not a lot achieved. Equipment and people failures lead to some headaches. My student is having a real struggle keeping our genotyping working. One day it works, the next nothing. I had to so it alongside her and check to see if she was doing to right. It worked - but do I have to do it alongside her everytime? Kind of defeats the purpose of having her.

Met with the wife at lunch to see a man about a photo booth for our wedding next year (the real fake one). Decent price and nice guy - he does what we need (ie photos in a booth) with some props and custom designs on the passport-style prints. One for the album + message, one for the guest and all on DVD at the end. That's my part of the wedding planning done and dusted!

On the way back we passed the pet store and got babe some fresh breath treats. Spotted this display of furry toys for dogs to devour. Would only take babe a matter of minutes to extract the stuffing from these lot!

Dropped off my friend at the airport tonight as he flies to see his gf in Montreal. Talk about long distance relationships! They have hardly lived in the same place since they got together - back in Germany - perhaps that's why the relationship works!!
