It is a holiday....

It is a long weekend here in Canterbury, today being a public holiday.

So we went for a drive over to see friends of ours who are camping for the 3 days on the penisular....I always find it so relaxing sitting outside a tent site!
The kids had taken off to the beach and so us adults just sat around and talked about fixing the world and all its problems...not a bad day out.
