"Along The Sandbar Today"...
...BEST ON LARGE...
...Yesterday I was in this same area - but now we are looking downstream, the day is perfect today again and I wish I could send some of this day's sunshine to you too wherever you are, yes, I wish I could...
...In the far distance we can see the old P.S. Rothbury, built in 1881, making her way back toward the Lock and past where I'm standing and back to the wharf Landing once again..It's old Rothbury's turn to take to the river today, she mostly heads in the other direction..
...We've seen the old Rothbury before, and I'll certainly show you again, but I
wanted to show you just some more of the Sandbar here, you can see it's a popular spot in summer for families and during winter when the river's down, but shoes are definitely required so I discovered over 40 years ago..I never thought sand could become so hot then, I remember, but then, the temperature was 105deg.F..the only cool place was in the river with a big hat on..
...Yesterday, my blip for the day :365th: made the Spotlight quite early I believe and I'm very humbled at the most wonderful, kind remarks which you have given me, and also for John, my Dear, and my Overseer Of Difficult Moments..
... The Hearts, Stars, and Encouragement you've all given me yesterday and over this past year has not gone unnoticed, I try to answer each and every one of you and as you know this is a large task, but as long as you know I am thinking of you too in your daily lives and appreciate all of your wonderful images which I see, shown right here.. I know you put your All and every Effort into whatever you present, and ofcourse this is never wasted - and I thank you all so sincerely for your kind thoughts and comments herein yesterday for "The Mark In The Sand"..
...{I'm sorry this isn't a better capture but I'm having trouble with the camera and have to get it checked..it does this some days in perfect conditions..and 'they' can't seem to explain the problem..maybe I need a new camera, eh..oh yes, my birthday's coming up soon too..annoying isn't it to have birthdays, right near Christmas..but we December babies cope don't we and everyone who has also, say the same to me too..}
...And finally - wherever you are and whatever you are doing this day, I send to you all best wishes, for always..and those who are not well, or find the day hard to cope with, tomorrow will be here regardless and come the morrow, the new day, - it shall be better..XX
