Moon at Sunset
I have been busy the last few days getting ready for a visitor. Since I am still in the process of moving in, there was a lot to put away and also a lot to clean. Visitors are good motivators for getting things done.
Late afternoon something hit my house, probably one of the windows. I went out to see if there was any damage and scarred a bird of prey out of my yard and into a nearby tree. Went in to retrieve my camera and as I came out my next door neighbor, not knowing about the bird, walked towards the tree. This time the bird flew out of sight.
Most likely there was not enough light to get a good picture. My neighbor and I decided that it was probably a Cooper's Hawk. Talked with her for a while and took a few pictures.
I selected this picture of an almost full moon during the last bit of light from the sun for my blip.
