Children in Need Challenge: Day 5

Finally reached the end of the week and the last class of the challenge - Metafit at 0630.

What an amazing week it has been. My personal highlights were being sung Happy Birthday on Monday morning, trying Boot camp for the first ever time and the lights being turned off for the finisher in Metafit this morning.

The best thing about doing something like this is that you come to realise the power that individuals have when they come together for a common goal. A seed of an idea that we had one morning when we were out running has grown, taken root and become an enormous tree. Each person who took part and contributed their time or their ideas or their expertise are like branches of that tree. We all connected together and have become so strong as a team that not even the feircest storm could blow us down.
