Gil in the Dock

I've been avoiding portraits. Sometimes my confidence dips and I find it impossible to photograph people in the street in the way I really want; close, candid, well within talking range. This was an easy way to start again, asking the charming Gil for his portrait as I ordered lunch. He was flattered.
